Alan was introduced to pottery in 1965 while in high school. He fell in
love with the feel of the clay and products he could mold with his own
hands. He went on to Jr. College, then San Jose State University, each year
learning more and more about clay, glazes, design and mastering the wheel.
In 1990, after a career that didnąt interest him, he established the company
now known today as Architectural Ceramic Design and started production work.
Living in the wine country, he began production of winery related pieces for
the industry.
In 1997 he met Donna, who was managing a garden center nursery and making
flower arrangements. That, along with her past entrepreneurial business experience,
made a perfect union. They expanded into giftware, dinnerware, and
gardenware, working together designing new items and brilliant colors.
After the piece is thrown by Alan, Donna adds the decorations and does the
finish design.
Alan and Donna hope you enjoy their products, and hope to hear from you.

Bovolo is a salumeria, gelateria, enoteca, & pizzeria. Bovolo is the Italian word for a type of snail,
the symbol of the SLOW FOOD movement, Italy's response to the arrival of a McDonald's at the bottom of
the Spanish Steps in Rome. It is a movement to get people back to growing their own food, making foods
by hand, and eating together. The food at Bovolo is all made with that intention, 'slow food… fast.'
John Stewart cures all his own salumi and bacon and makes his own hand crafted gelati. Bovolo also
features ice cream sandwiches, bon bons dipped in Scharffen Berger chocolate, and thin crust pizzas
(breakfast pizzas too!). Wines are served by the quartino, a 1/4 bottle carafe and choose from 3 just
picked fruit bellinis or sip down a bellini float. Bovolo has been featured in San Francisco Chronicle,
San Francisco Press Democrat, Sunset, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, USA Today, Food Arts, & San Francisco
Magazine, to name a few. Bovolo opens for breakfast at 9am, serves a fantastic lunch both indoors and on
its delightful outdoor patio, and stays open for dinner Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Since they imported olive trees from Italy nearly 20 years ago, Ridgely Evers and Colleen McGlynn
have pursued their passion for producing great ingredients, whenever possible directly from their farm.
Their estate extra virgin and meyer lemon olive oils have won countless awards and are the first choice
of many of the country's best chefs. Starting from that foundation, they have added Pollo Rosso ('Chicken
Red') red wine, a favorite on some of the Bay Area's top wine lists, as well as handmade jams and preserves,
olive oil soap and cosmetics, herbs and spices, and more.
All of these products are available to taste and sample at Plaza Farms.

Supper offers unique, hard-to-find pantry items, including Himalayan Salt Plates, Verjus, and more.

| Plaza Farms' newest inhabitant brings delicious decadance to the Healdsburg Town Square in the form of
truly spectacular chocolates from some of the best artisans in the world — most from the Bay Area.
